This is the narration of Shinonome Hajime, a silver rank adventurer, who is fully devoted to completing the guild missions daily. One day, when he was close to finishing a quest to collect the monster meat, he saw Lily, a strange girl in the dungeon, who caused more trouble in his life. After rescuing her from death, her background reminds Hajime of his own past life, which makes him start looking after her.
