In season three, gods of all Norse, Greek, and Hindu mythologies come together every thousand years to make a big decision of if humans should continue to live. Disgusted with human selfishness, they all vote to eradicate humanity. Before making their ruling final, Brunhilde, one of the 13 Valkyries of Valhalla, suddenly interrupts to protect humans. She suggests Ragnarok, a contest where 13 powerful human warriors fight 13 gods in a solo battle. While the gods mock her idea, she cleverly plays their arrogance against them to make them agree. Now, Brunhilde needs to choose the strongest fighters from human history and lead them to victory before they face their ultimate end.
